RALLY MESSAGE
We are looking forward to a PEACEFUL rally filled with ALOHA and RESPECT for one another.  Please wear your mask, practice social distance and use hand sanitizer often. Distance hugs and fist bumps are welcome. I know it is so hard during this time. The safety of all of you is our number one priority. Number two is to get our voices heard.

Let us also show RESPECT for the other side.  Please do not say negative remarks toward them.  They have just as much right to express their opinions as we do. No matter the outcome, Friends of Kewalos would like to sit at the table with them to plan the future of KM. In order to do this we must Earn their Respect. 
Our mission is to show the legislators and the broader public We stand strong to STOP this travesty. Let us Rally with great passion and conviction. Our signs and T-shirts will tell all.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Friends of Kewalos staff with be wearing bright green or red vests- See them with any questions and follow their instructions. 

  • Approach the Capitol from Beretania Street side.  

  • T-shirts & Rally signs -  Look for the Friends of Kewalos red and gold Flags to locate the T-shirts and the rally signs near the entrance by the Father Damien statue.

  • Once you get your shirts and signs proceed to the Rotunda and gather there.  We do not want to create bottlenecks. 

  • Listen for instructions over the loud speaker.  Some Legislators will speak to us.

  • Lets have a Fun, Wonderful, Peaceful RALLY

 
PARKING OPTIONS

  • Iolani Palace- enter from King st. Turn left right before the Library.  50 metered stalls only.        50 cents per hour.  4 hrs max

  • Dept of Health.  Metered.

  • Metered street parking on King, Punchbowl, Richards.  2 hrs.

  • Municipal lot at DLNR building.  Enter on Beretania at the light before Punchbowl.
