Mahalo Kewalo Ohana!!!

Updated: Jul 15, 2021

MAHALO KEWALO OHANA…

for your participation in our successful 13th Annual Kewalo Basin Park Cleanup/Fundraiser.  We had a terrific turn out again with about 200 people working hard to “give back” to our beloved park.  It was good to see more young people participating as they are our future.  It was a sight to see all the Kewalo Ohana working together in unity “E Hana Kakou.”

We danced to the song “Working on the Chain Gang” while doing the human chain of the trash bags to the bin.

The Park never looked better…

I LOVE KEWALOS because contest produced some interesting answers.  See one of the winning cards named their son “Kewalo”.  Other answers included: PEACEFUL, Heaven on Earth.  A common denominator aside from the good waves, was all the good people and vibes at the park.  We will be posting all the cards and photos on our website shortly.

Our fundraising efforts was a successful enough to sustain us for another year.  Mahalo to all for your generosity.
